The new renovations at King of the Frosties are top notch. The place looks amazing and is beautifully updated! The Perk next door also had a wonderful upgrade, and is a great place for breakfast or lunch. I've been to King of Frosties several times since its re-opening, and the ice cream and atmosphere are great! I will be coming here for a frosty treat anytime I'm in town! Great job to all of the owners and renovators! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ice cream was a great treat! Lots of choices, with toppings, flavors, and then picnic tables out front to watch the traffic go by! The maple walnut ice cream was scrumptious!

Decided to stop for lunch as we were driving past. Food was good, plentiful and reasonably priced. Wait staff was friendly and proficient, and while the decor wasn't polished, it was a fun little local diner with lots of character and history. Lots of menu options for all ages and wonderful french fries. I loved the fish and chips which were crispy cod strips that camw out nice and hot with a crunchy outside and a moist, tender fish inside. Love love love! Did not try the ice cream for which they were founded, but it looked heavenly and lots of people were coming and going to get some!

Honestly a great little place kinda in the middle of nowhere. The food was standard fare for a diner, but the Reuben sandwich was absolutely delicious. The staff was all friendly and fast... But this sandwich was killer. If you're in Speculator, stop in and grab a Reuben for sure.

Excellent Fries! The fried Haddock was delicious. Very small home town restaurant. We definitely will be back. PS: Home made raspberry - yum!

New owners in 2025 - still great ice cream! Old review 2021 - Great “no frills” food! Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. If you want comfort food, look no further.
